TMUX1072: ON-state resistance

Part Number: TMUX1072
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A23159

Hi,

I have a customer looking to multiplex a set of connector pins to send either CANbus or I2C out of this specific connector. They are looking for a 2 channel, 2:1 SPDT, IO selectable, bidirectional multiplexer with sufficient bandwidth (>100Mhz) and low on resistance that could be used to switch the CANbus signals without introducing any latency or distortion.

They are considering TMUX1072RUTR. However, it has a rated on-state resistance of 6 ohms nominal, 18 ohms max.

The concern is that the on state resistance of the switches will affect the impedance of the CANbus connections and potentially introduce reflections/distortion onto the bus.

Is there another part you could suggest that meets this same criteria but has a lower on state resistance?

Thanks,

Ben
