CD74HC4051: In floating, Getting voltage in the MUX I/O line.

We have tried adding a pulldown resistor in both the Z channel and the Y channel. 

Still, I can measure the floating resistor.

It looks like you have your VCC and VEE tied to the same ground. The VEE is the negative supply. If you bias the VEE and VCC to the same positive supply you'll be violating the VEE spec (0 to -6V). Can you ground VEE and see the results? 

Additionally, if you're intent is to use the device for only passing 0 - 5V signals, SN74LV4051A may be a better fit for this application. The lower On-Resistance and slightly lower On-Capacitance will allow for better precision and timing.

Praveen, looks like I actually made a typo though. "It looks like VCC and VEE are tied to the same ground" should have been "VCC and VEE are tied to the same supply". Just wanted to clear that up in case there was confusion.
