TMUX646: part number

Part Number: TMUX646
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1309-Q1, SN3257-Q1

hi team,

i have two question about the device,

first what the difference of TMUX646NZECR and TMUX646ZECR.

second do we have AUTO grade MIPI MUX, could you help recommend a suitable AUTO grade device.

  • The N indicates that the same chip is packaged on a different reel; see p. 32 of the datasheet.

There are no automotive-qualified, high-speed switches; the fastest would be the TMUX1309-Q1 with 0.5 GHz.

  • Hi Colt,

Clemens is spot on here. The difference between the two OPN's has to do with the reel differences, which you can see starting with page 32 of the datasheet.

May I ask who the customer is? We have a similar E2E post where a similar topic was discussed. For a single chip solution, we currently don't have an automotive solution. The post breaks down how the SN3257-Q1 could be used as a multi-chip solution.

    Thanks!

    Alex
