Hi
A customer has a question. TMUX1574PWR was previously used for SPI 1.8V. Now if it needs to be changed to 3.3V (VDD, EN, SEL are also changed to 3.3V), can it be used? If not, which one do you recommend? Thanks.

Hey Gareth,
They should be fine with the change. They actually don't even need to change the VDD, EN or SEL to 3.3V if it makes their system changes easier. The TMUX1574 will pass signals up to VDD x 2 (limited to 5.5V max). So if they keep the 1.8V supply they can still safely pass up to 3.6V.
Additionally, the VIH and VIL thresholds are consistent across all supply levels. So if they keep the 1.8V SEL and EN the device will still be compatible at 3.3V.
It will also work just fine if they move all of these to 3.3V but if it is easier, what I recommended above is also a solution.
Thanks!
