TS5A23166: Turn on when power-off

Hi,

I have some special application need can meet below.

1. Low enable

2. Normally closed (can conduct even when there's no power)

3. 2 channel is best, if have 1CH or 4CH is fine.

I found most of low active switch have power-off protection, does there have any other suggestion for this application?

A switch that can conduct without power requires depletion-mode MOSFETs. TI does not make such switches.

Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately, we do not have any depletion mode switches at this time. What's the use case here? Is this a must have for your application?

We have plenty of powered off protection switches so if you let me know about some other key parameters I can help you find an alternative!

Hi,

I need A to still have connectivity to B when there is no power. I want to utilize the connectivity of the CC pin for Type-C to control whether the Type-C USB provides power when the USB plug is inserted.
