Hi team,

Could you please confirm the voltage compatibility of the part SN74HC4066 with 5V supply when we interface with 3.3V logic controller. The VOH & VOL of our STM32 controller is 2.9 & 0.4.

Please confirm the logic voltage compatibility of the part.

The SN74HC4066's V_IH is not low enough.

The CD74HCT4066 has TTL-compatible control inputs, which accept 3.3 V control signals. There also are the TMUX1511 or TMUX1112.

Clemens is exactly right here. The SN75HC4066 would not support the targeted use case you presented. Fortunately, we have the TMUX1511 and TMUX1112 as the ideal replacements which would support your use case.

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you please confirm that the part TMUX1112 can switch the voltage 0 to 5V range when operated with 5V supply and 3.3V logic Control input.

Hi Mahalakshmi,

I can confirm that TMUX1112 will support signal ranges from 0V to 5V with a 5V supply and 3.3V logic control input. This device supports signal ranges form 0V to VDD and a VIH level of 1.49V.
