TMUX6201: SEL control inverted

Part Number: TMUX6201
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX6202

Tool/software:

I build a design with many many TMUX6201. Following the datasheet, I inotialized most of them with SEL=0 to turn off. As I was debugginh it turned out that SEL was active LOW rather than active HIGH as the data sheet indicates. I verified again and agin that this is so. D connects to S when SEL = 0...

I can work around by inverting all my control logic but it is still strange. I verified that the assembly house (who also procured components) didn't install TMUX6202 by mistake...

The device marking has H201 wich the data sheet says is correct for TMUX6201...

Any clue why the SEl is inverted?

  • Hi Terry,

Thanks for reaching out. Looks like this is a data sheet error. This is a fix that is currently in the works. You are correct though, the truth table (and logic images) are backwards. We should have this updated within a couple of weeks. Apologies for any issues this may have caused.

    Regards,

    Alex
