Hi all,

I would like to know how to handle unused ports.

I think the ON/OFF of IN pin can be controlled by the H/L control from the MCU.

If not used, can the IN pin be handled as Not Connect or Open?

These devices are NC (Normally Closed) at Vcc: 0v, I think there is no need to control the IN port.

If the IN port must not be set to Open(N.C.), connect the IN port to Vcc?

1. Unused IN pins must not be left floating. Connect the to VCC or GND.

2. When powered off, no voltage must be applied to the COM/NO pins. (The absolute maximum ratings forbid voltages above V₊ + 0.5 V.)

3. The behaviour of the switches is described in table 1.

Hello Ryusuke,

I would recommend to not leave the control pins floating. It might cause unintended behavior of the device.

Yes, the IN ports can be connected to Vcc to close the switch.

Please see H/L voltage levels below.

Hi Nir,

I am thinking of using a 1.8 V power supply.

If it is a 1.8 V supply, I think Vih (Input Logic High) is in the 1.5~5.5 V range. Is that correct?
