TMUX1237:About differences between TMUX1237 and TMUX1247

Part Number: TMUX1237
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1247,

Tool/software:

Hello, I'm finding some multiflexer that is endurable for overshooting. And I found TMUX1237 model and TMUX1247 model in this link(https://e2e.ti.com/support/switches-multiplexers-group/switches-multiplexers/f/switches-multiplexers-forum/863546/faq-debugging-and-fixing-overshoot-in-switching-events)

But I want to know about difference between TMUX1237 and TMUX1247 for detail. Is it a process difference? or Circuit design difference?

So If you're okay, please let me know why TMUX1237 model is more endurable for overshooting rather than TMUX1247. Thank you so much for your help.

  • Hi woojin,

It's just a slight circuit difference. There was some tweaking to some timing on some internal drivers that help minimize some of the peaks which help alleviate the overshoots. TMUX1247 was the first iteration and 1237 was just tweaked in a way to address the overshoot behavior. From a specification perspective you'll notice they're largely the same though.

    Thanks,
    Rami
