TMUX8108: high voltage swtiching

Part Number: TMUX8108
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX4827

Tool/software:

I Have question about TMUX8108
I want to high voltage switching use to tmux
If VDD(VADJ) = 5V, D port(PHI) = 30~50V
is it possible drain to source switching?
refer to as follow circuit.

Thanks and BR

  • Hi Pil,

No this wouldn't be possible. The supply would need to match your input. 30-50V. The closest fit we would have for supporting something like this would be the TMUX4827 but that would only go to 12V with a 5V supply. Unfortunately we won't have a 5V supply device that can support above the rails up to 50V.
Do you not have a higher supply rail to feed to the VDD of the mux?

    Thanks,
    Rami
