TMUX8212: Can I power the TMUX8212 with only a negative supply?

Hi TI Team;

Can I power the TMUX8212 with only a negative supply? I would like switch negative voltages.

Example: VDD = 0V; VSS = -36V

If that is not possible, can I power it with a positive voltage that is lower in absolute value than the negative voltage?

Example: VDD = +5V; VSS = -36V

All voltages in the datasheet are measured relative to the GND pin, and the logic input signals are referenced to GND. Please specify the voltages at all three supply pins.

VDD= GND; VSS= -36V; GND= GND

S1= -36V; SEL1= TTL; D1= OPEN or -36V depends on TTL

If VDD must be positive supply:

VDD= +5V; VSS= -36V; GND= GND

The recommended operating conditions requires that V_DD is at least 10 V.

You could use a lower GND voltage, but then you have to shift the control signals with a translator like the TXG1041.

Alternatively, generate the +10 V supply with a voltage doubler like the LM2665.
