TS5A23167: about data sheet

Part Number: TS5A23167
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A23166,

Tool/software:

Hi all,

We are examining the specifications for both TS5A23166 and TS5A23167.

TS5A23166: NO→COM (IN is high active ON) NO is normally open and open when the power is off

TS5A23167: NC→COM (IN is high active ON) NC is normally close and closed when the power is off.

However, the block diagram of the following item shows NO.

If you look at the block diagram of other pages, most of them show NO on the IN side.

Which is correct?

  • For the TSA23167, IN is not active-high but active-low. The TSA23167 block diagram is wrong; the IN pins should not have buffers but inverters.

For both devices, when the power is off, the switch is open.

  • Hi

I agree with Clemens on this and the 23166 is active high while the 23167 is active low with respect to the IN pins.

However when the both devices are powered off the switch paths are open.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions and we can discuss further.

    Regards,

    Kameron
