Hi Expert,

Is there any part available in TI which has both Mux/demux and level shifter functions in one IC. It may be 4-bit, 8bit or 16 bit.

Hill,

1)"SN74CB3T3257" - It is bidirectional as mentioned in the datasheet. How the voltage step-up conversion will happen?

2) Is there a case where the output voltage should be lower than the input voltage at all times?

3) If the VCC pin is used for output voltage, where should the input voltage be supplied. Whether it is the voltage level on the input side signals?

4) Is there any IC that has level translation form 3.3V to 1.8V along with Mux/Demux functionality? Here, listed IC's supports 5V/3.3V to 2.5V level translation.

This device is a passive switch. Voltages nar the supply are not passed through; you have to add a pull-up resistor to the output.

There is no integrated device that does what you want. You have to combine a switch with a level shifter.
