LVDS Multiplexer 680 Mbps

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3DS26227, TS3V712E

Hello,

I'm looking to multiplex two LVDS signals down to one.  The data rate is 680 Mbps DDR, or 340 MHz.

Actually, I'm doing that for a bus 6 lanes wide, so I'm looking to multiplex 12 LVDS signals down to 6.

In order to save power, I was hoping to use an analog switch in order to accomplish the multiplexing, rather than a multiplexer/buffer.  I have two questions:

1.  Is TS3DS26227 a reasonable choice of switch for this data rate?

2.  Would there be any reduction in performance if V_IO was 2.5 V, rather than the expected 1.8 V?

Thank you,

Jeremy Pessin
