TS5A12301E Analog Switch Capacitance

Hi Team,

1) Cno(off) Off Capacitance is measured when the switch is not biased/powered?

2) How is ON capacitance for NC/NO measured? or how is these separated from COM capacitance? Wouldn't NC or NO capacitance include COM because the switch is always connected to one of the ports?

  • Hello Johnson,

    Thank you for your questions.

    1) Cno(off) is measured when the switch is off, meaning the switch is not powered.

    2) You are correct, the NC or NO capacitance is the same as COM capacitance becuase COM is always connected to eithere NC or NO. This is why they are the same value in the datasheet.

Also, here is the test setup, so you know how capacitance was measured:

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have more questions.

    Thank you,

    Jared
