Hello TI team,

Could you provide me with the difference between Analog Switch and Analog Mux/DeMux?

what is the function for this device "TS3DV520E", it's classified as HDMI/LAN/VGA/DDR/Video Switch and in title as "Mux Switch"

Please look at our signal switch forum FAQs thread as there is not an electrical difference between Analog Switch and Analog Mux/DeMux.

I have seen the industry use the term mux for devices that can route signals to more than 4 locations like a 1:4, 1:8, 1:16 mux and use the term switch for routing signals to less than 4 locations like a SPST switch (single-pole single-throw) SPDT switch (single-pole double-throw).
