SN74CBTLV3125 - I/O Speed

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74CBTLV3125

We are using SN74CBTLV3125 switch for isolation purpose. Buffer is powered by 3.3V but the signal we are transferring is 1.8V.

1. I like to confirmation on the VCC voltage (3.3V) doesn't have an impact on the I/O data signal switching ?

2. what is the maximum speed  this switch will support on the I/O signal transfer ?

Thanks

  • 1) The SN74CBTLV321 datasheet states that it has rail to rail I/O support which means it can switch a signal ranging from 0 V to Vcc (supply voltage).  This means with a 3.3 V supply you will have not issue passing a 1.8V signal

    2) You can refer to the digital switch guide  which has I/O speed for CBTLV  family of devices as <=200Mhz .

    Thank you,

    Adam
