TINA/Spice/CD74HCT4067: Equivalent part simulation model

Part Number: CD74HCT4067
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello Team,

I have a customer that is requesting a spice model for the CD74HCT4067, however I do not see one available.

Is there an equivalent device that does have a model?

Thank you for your time.

Have a great day!

Regards,

Ed Watts

  • Ed,

You can always request a model using this link.  You will need to have the following business information estimates and customer simulation type ready to fill out the submission form.

    Customer name:

    number of units/yr:

    number of years:

    unit price:

how imperative is the model to winning the business:

Customer simulator: (Allegro, PSPICE, Mentor , etc.)

    Customer Simulator version:

To submit a new request select start and follow the prompts

The CD74HCT4067 is an older device and creating a model may not be a trivial task.  The modeling team creates these models from the design database but for these older parts the database may not be in a readily available format.

What is the customer wanting to observe with a model of this device?  Will a simplified RC model be sufficient for them using the Ron and Con parasitics listed in the datasheet?

Why did the customer select the CD74HCT4067 device?  Voltage range, bandwidth, leakage spec, etc.  We can try and find a similar device released this decade.

    Thank you,

    Adam

  • Adam,
I am not sure why they want to use this part. Just that they asked if there is an equivalent with a model. However I will forward this information to the customer.

    Thank you for your time.

    Have a great day!
