TX810: TX810 - programmable TR/RX switch for ultrasound.

Part Number: TX810
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE5818

Hello,

We are using TX810 as TR switch with AFE5818 for medical ultrasound device, we have used PMUT based ultrasound probes,

in our previous design we have designed T/R with discrete diodes and we haven't used AC coupling cap at input of T/R switch, but with TX810 it is recommended to use ac coupling caps,

we have some board space constraints and its difficult fir us to include these caps at T/R switch input,

1. since we are using Piezo based probes, so I think we don't need ac coupling at TX 810 input, right?

2. is it possible to use smaller cap such as 10nF instead of 0.1uF? thit will allow us to use smaller package such as 0402

Thanks in advance
