TX810: Single Channel T/R switch to switch between transmitter and receiver on time basis.

Hello,

I have an electroacoustic transducer driver of capacity 60W electrical and 10W acoustical. Its internal impedance is 16 ohm. This driver is enabled to transmit and receive the signal. I need a simple switching device that will Turn ON the power amplifier signal to the transducer for 1 second and Turn ON the preamplifer path for 9 seconds and continue likewise. I have seen TX810 T/R switch, it's an 8 channel programmable switch. Is this switch can work for me? Also, there are other switches as well so which switch can be most suitable for my application?

from our system engineers' concern:

Functional will work. but power is a concern. Their 60W power may kill many ICs. Our IC typically handle power around 2~3 W.

Thanks for this information. Can you suggest me the suitable Transmit/Receive switch which meets my requirement? Also, tell me a good source of reference document where I can study designing of T/R switches.
