Hi team,

My customer wants to use the device SN74CB3Q16811 for a function below.

16811 as a bus switch, when the 16811 is off, Main board has power, but UUT has no power. Whether we need to connect A side to UUT, B side to CPU? If we connect like this, whether the A side is high impedance if the 16811 is off. If the solution is ok, please let me know. Thanks.

    If you want the bus to the UUT to be high impedance when off, then using the A port for that is correct.

    The B port, which can be precharged, is supposed to be connected to the bus where hot-plugging happens. But in your case, there are no other receivers that must be active at the same time, so this feature is not needed.

    When you leave BIASV open, both ports have high impedance, so it does not really matter which side is A/B.

    Why not use the SN74CB3Q16211 instead?
