SN74CB3Q3253: looks like a typo in device configuration description in application information and typical applications section

A customer of mine uses the SN74CB3Q3253 in their products and noticed a mistake in the datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn74cb3q3253.pdf)

 

Here, the device is a „Dual 1-of-4 FET Multiplexer” but is referred as a quad 1 of 2 (sections 9.1 and 9.2)


The text must have been copied from another type (...3257 or so)

    Hi Adam,

    Thank you for pointing out this inconsistency in the datasheet. Our team will update the datasheet accordingly.

    I would recommend replacing this device with TMUX1209, which is a newer device with 1.8V logic capability, fail-safe logic, and break-before-make.
