Hi Rajat,
The PSpice models for the TI Devices on the web are usually encrypted and can only run in PSpice. In order to import them into another simulator that supports PSpice models, an unencrypted model would be required.
What are you trying to simulate? Have you tried the IBIS model?
Best regards,
Ambroise
Hi Ambroise,
Yes i have tried IBIS model in LT SPice. i am getting same error.
Kindly share unencrypted model.so i can proceed on this further.
I want to simulate one Dual purpose UART Circuit
Hi Rajat,
Unfortunately we can't share un-encrypted models without an NDA.
I'll contact you directly for further discussions.
Best regards,
Ambroise
Hi Rajat,
We were able to get unencrypted Spice model (attached). There is a HELP file that shows the HSPICE model hierarchy.
Note that the models are for Hspice, and they may not work in LTspice.
Thanks
Saminah
Hi Rajat,
The model was done for Hspice, which has different syntax from Pspice or LTspice.
An error is the unfortunate, but expected outcome.
However, see below (also attached) an approximation of the model (TINA file attached) – Depending on what specs/parameters you want to mode, I can provide more details.
