MUX509: Do you have any data about On-resistance drift except VS=10V case?

Part Number: MUX509

 Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using MUX509 for their new products.

They need On-resistance drift data. They know the device datasheet has the data at VS=10V condition.

Do you have the drift data in other conditions?

 For example, Vs=15V, 20V, 30V.

Your reply would be much appreciated.

 Best regards,

 Kazuya.

  • Hi Kazuya,

I'm looking for these data in our database. In your post you mention Ron drift at Vs=10V, I only see Vs=0V.
Which data are you referring to from the datasheet:

    Thank you and best regards,

    Ambroise

  •  Hello Ambroise,

Thank you very much for your reply and I'm sorry to confuse you because of my wrong question.

The customer wants to know about "On-resistance drift" in condition of VDD=12V and Vss=0V as the follow.

The on-resistance drift is 0.47%/degree C when the source pin voltage (VS) is 10V.

Do you have any data of on-resistance drift when VS is other voltage (for example, Vs=15V,20V or 30V)?

Or is the on-resistance drift not depend on VS?

Or is the on-resistance drift by device variation bigger than VS condition?

Thank you again and best regards,

     Kazuya.

  • Hi Kazuya,

Thank you for the confirmation, unfortunately we don't have the data at hand.
We'll have to measure these properties in the lab, expect results by the end of next week.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Ambroise

  •  Hello Ambroise,

Thank you very much for your strong supports.

I'm looking forward to receiving the data you took.

Thank you again and best regards,

     Kazuya.

  • Hi Kazuya,

I'm sorry this measurement took longer than expected.
    I measured two scenarios:

    • VDD = 12V, Vs = 12V (we don't recommend going over VDD with Vs)
    • VDD = 20V, Vs = 20V

In both cases the On-resistance drift was about 0.54 %/°C, slightly above the the Ron drift at Vs = 0V.

Should you need more details, let us know.

    Best regards,

    Ambroise

  •  Hello Ambroise,

Thank you very much for your strong supports.

I will tell that On-resistance drift was about 0.54%/C with the conditions to the customer.

The value is very helpful for the customer and me.

Thank you very much again and best regards,

     Kazuya.
