SN74CBTLV3257-EP: schmitt trigger on digital input ?

Hello,

I plan to use the SN74CBTLV3257-EP device with a "slow" rising signal on the "S" input pin ("Select" pin). By slow, I mean that the S signal will rise from 0 to 3.3V in 10ms.

Does this input have a schmitt trigger or hysteresis to avoid bouncing?

Hi Thomas,

The SN74CBTLV3257-EP does not have Schmitt-trigger. on the Select pin You can tell by checking the Electrical Characteristics table -- a real Schmitt-trigger will have V_t+ and V_t- values given (such as SN74LVC1G14 and SN74LVC1G17 have added input hysteresis to handle noisy signals and produce a clean output).
