TMUX1104: Can I use the DAC43608 + TMUX6104 to adjust four patterns of LED currents?

Part Number: TMUX1104
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX6104, DAC43608

e2e,

I'm considering using the DAC43608 + TMUX6104 to adjust four patterns of LED currents as in the attachment.

If you have an another recommended Analog SW, could you let me know?

Thank you,

Adam

  • Hi Adam,

How did you come across the TMUX6104? This is a +/-18V part.

Since the DAC43608 is a 5V device I would also recommend the TMUX1104 which is a 5 V device and also part of our precision multiplexers portfolio for low voltage.

In TMUX part number, the first digit  is the voltage.  Lower numbers are lower voltage devices and higher numbers are higher voltage devices.

Please see comparison below between the two parts and let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

    Saminah
