TMUX136: About Always EN enable.

Hello,

 

Regarding to EN on TMUX136, my customer is asking a question.

(Question)

･When EN is always enable ,is there any problem on device?

For example, is there any problem at following condition?

1) After EN is enable, TMUX136 power on.

2) TMUX136 keeps power off. Then after EN is enable, signal inputs to signal path A/B.

    Hi Tao,

    The TMUX136 has a high impedance mode that places all the signal paths in a Hi-Z state while the device is not in use. This is the power-off protection feature forcing all I/O pins to be in high impedance mode when power is not present on the VCC pin.

    Does this answer your question or are you looking for signal path enabled from A to B when the device is not powered?
