comparing the 2 Parts TI, TMUX1219DBVR and Pericomm PI5A124.
They are extremely similar but have only one flaw in the supply voltage range and maximum on the input signals to the mux
In particular:
PERICOM Max VDD 7V MAX INPUT 9V OPERATING VDD 2V to 6V Operation:-40°C - 85°C
TEXAS Max VDD 6V MAX INPUT 6,5V OPERATING VDD 1.08V to 6V Operation: -40°C - 125°C
Since Texas is not identical or always improving (Texas for example it works at a higher temperature and also at 1.8V, Pericom no but at high voltages the Pericom is more robust) it seems risky to homologate them together as much as they are similar.
Could you advise on the above.
