TMUX1574: TMUX1574 1:4 for SPI

Hi sirs,

   My customer designed TMUX1574 for 1 to 2 channels SPI switch. Now she wants to find a switch of 1 to 4 channels SPI to reduce component counts. Does TI have 1:4 SPI swittch?

    Alan,

    We don't have any multiplexers that can switch between 4 slaves and 1 master for SPI (4:16 multiplexer or 4 channel 4:1) in a single chip. But perhaps a 2 chip solution with 2 x TMUX1309? TMUX1309 is a 2 channel 4:1 so you'll need 2 of them ot carry all the SPI lines. Each individual 4:1 multiplexer channel would be responsible for carrying each of the 4 SPI lines. TMUX1309 has a low 15pF capacitance so it shouldn't have much impact on the laod capacitance.
