TS5A623157: Does we provide TS5A623157 QFN package now?

Part Number: TS5A623157
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A23157

Hi team,

Do we have TS5A623157 QFN package can order or provide for customer now?

If yes, can you share the MOQ, PACKING, PACKAGE information to me?  Thank you!

Kai

  • Hi Kai Lai,

I don't think we do; this datasheet hasn't been updated since 2007 and it doesn't look we are selling anything but the VSSOP package currently.

If the VSSOP package isn't a possibility please let me know why the customer is looking at this part and I will see if we something better fitted for the application in a QFN type package.

    Please let me know!

  • Hi Parker,

    Thanks for your reply,

Customer need a analog switch like TS3A27518ERTWR, but they just need 2 channel to use, so I suggest they to consider  TS5A623157 & TS5A23157,

They choose the cheaper one TS5A623157 but they want to use QFN package to save package size.

If customer need QFN package, TS5A23157 is a good option right ?  If you have any comment or better solution, please let me know, thanks!

  • Hi Kai,

There are a few differences that could impact performance if using the TS5A23157 over the TS5A623157.

To ensure there are no issues from switching IC's I'd like to get a little bit of information:

    What are the:

    Power supply rails being used?

Signal Level, Bandwidth, and Digital or Analog?

What do the loading conditions look like for the switch?

Does the customer need Overvoltage and Undervoltage Protection?

There are some slight differences when it comes to bandwidth and On Resistance - depending on the questions above I should be able to tell if there will be issue for switching IC's to support a QFN package.

Please let me know so I can check if switching would cause issues or not.
