Best regards,
Hi Jesus,
We don't provide the junction process breakdown temperature - but you can estimate the max operating temp using the following formula:
Operating Junction Temp = Ambient Temp + Theata_JA *([VCC * ICC] + [I_switch^2 * R_On])
Theta JA for this part depends on the package which can found in the datasheet and below:
To estimate max Operational Junction Temperature Use the following specs (found in the datasheet):
VCC -> Your applications VCC - in this example I will use 5.5V
ICC(max) -> The ICC for the Specific VCC in the datasheet - for VCC = 5.5V the Max ICC = 500nA
Theta_JA -> I will use the DCK package Theta_JA = 259 C/W as it will represent worst case - for your application use your chosen package for a closer estimate
T_Ambient(max) (Use Value found in Recommended Operating Conditions) -> 85C
On_state_switch_current (Use nominal current - not peak current as the device shouldn't be ran at peak current often) -> 200mA
R_On (If max Value is used your junction temperature will, in most cases, will be lower than what is calculated) -> 1.5 Ohms (max R_peak at VCC = 4.5V)
Estimated Junction Temp = 85C + 259C/W * ([500 nA * 5.5V] + [(200mA)^2 * 1.5 Ohms]) -> ~100.5 C. There are some assumptions in the estimate and some specs were taken at 4.5V and some at 5.5V; however, this will give a good idea of what you can expect the junction temperature to reach, worst case.
If you have any other questions please let me know!
