TMUX1511: ESD Connection

Hello,

Is there more information on the ESD structure in the TMUX1511?    Specifically, I'd like to know where current is discharged to if an ESD event occurs on pin S1 when the switch is open.    Will the current discharge to ground, or to D1?

    Hi Don,

    There is an ESD connection to ground which is where the output of discharge should occur- you can tell this because the min voltage in the abs max is -0.5V which is 0.5V below the GND level in the device which indicates a diode drop. However on the maximum side there is a value for 6V - regardless of supply voltage this shows there isn't a direct connection.
