Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX6219, TMUX7219
Hi team,
My customer is looking for Mux/switch solution as switch of UART signal. Do we have some suggestions here? Whether we can only need to care about the bandwidth? Thanks.

Hi Frank,
Thank you for reaching out and definitely we can support. Could you please give me some details on the use case and how you chose the TMUX6208.
- What is the required signal voltage?
- What are the available supply voltage rails?
- How many channels, signal coming IN and going OUT ? (Do you have a rough schematic or block diagram)
- Are you looking for 8:1 MUX?
Most commonly we have seen 2ch, 1:1 (SPST) or 2ch, 2:1 (SPDT) configurations used but it can vary based on system requirement.
All our devices can support the required UART data rate hence I am more interested in above factors.
Thank you,
Regards,
Sandesh
HI Frank,
Just wanted to follow up on this post to see how I can help further. Below are some of the options that can be used for UART.
2ch, 2:1 (SPDT) TMUX6219 - +/-4.5V to +/-18V or 4.5V to 36V
2ch, 2:1 (SPDT) TMUX7219 - +/-4.5V to +/-22V or 4.5V to 44V
2ch, 2:1 (SPDT) TS5A23157- 1.65V to 5.5V
Thank you,
