TMUX7212: some questions about NC ( No Connection) Pin

Comparing the device against Vishay DG212BDQ, The Pin No. 12 function is different.

  • DG212BDQ-T1-E3 pin 12 (VL) is +5V. TMUX7212 pin 12 is NC. Can you connect a 5 V to TMUX7212 (and TMUX6212PWR) pin 12?

TMUX7212 Data Sheet mentions " No internal connection. Can be shorted to GND or left floating."

What will be the impact if 5V connection is given to Pin 12.
