  • can A1,A2..,A11 be also made as inputs?

  • what is the max operating junction temperature  of the device ,the recommended operating temperature is 85, but what is the Absolute Max. value?

  • The Absolute Maximum section mentions the Input clamp current, IIK (VI < 0) , so do the inputs have clamp diodes to ground?

  • help me with the tentative values of the NMOS pass transistors like threshold voltage and Beta factor

  • also confirm if the below highlighted capacitance is the gate to ground capacitance i.e. 24pF or is it the Gate to Source capacitance

  • Sonia,

    1) can A1,A2..,A11 be also made as inputs?

I'm not sure what you are asking here.  The passive FET switches are bi-directional so either A or the B pins

    2) what is the max operating junction temperature  of the device ,the recommended operating temperature is 85, but what is the Absolute Max. value?

The max junction temperature for the device will exist at the max ambient temperature and the max power through the device.  These are low power devices as only 64 mA may be passed through the switch according to the datasheet.  You will also see that the max storage temperature is 150 deg C which is much higher than the junction temperature will rise during normal low power operation.

    3) The Absolute Maximum section mentions the Input clamp current, IIK (VI < 0) , so do the inputs have clamp diodes to ground?

That is correct there are protection diodes from the I/O pins to ground.  You can see that we do not recommend negative voltages on the I/O pins because it will begin to turn on these diodes past -0.5 V.

    4) help me with the tentative values of the NMOS pass transistors like threshold voltage and Beta factor

Why do you need to know the NMOS parameters like threshold voltage and Beta factor?  This information is proprietary to TI design and process but generally CMOS threshold voltages ~0.5 V.

    5)  also confirm if the below highlighted capacitance is the gate to ground capacitance i.e. 24pF or is it the Gate to Source capacitance

The on state capacitance Ci/o(on/off) is the capacitance from the I/O pins to ground.  The Ci(Gate) capacitance is from the gate pin to ground.

    Thank you,

    Adam
