I have seen in the datasheet that the maximum ambient temperature in operation is 85°C and that the maximum storage temperature is 150°C. But I would need to know the maximum juntion temperature to estimate if the measured casing temperature is low enough for the chip.

This post will provide the calculation for how hot the internal junction temperature will be if the part is operating at the maximum allowable ambient temperature and power.
For the TS5A23159DGS package the maximum junction temperature will heat up to 102.9 deg C with the maximum ambient temperature and max allowable power through the part.
