TS3A4751: switch not working properly when a pull dwon resistor 20K is added in the IN signal.

Part Number: TS3A4751

Hi,

I am using TS3A4751RUCR analog switch in my design
The switch is not properly giving the output when a 20K pulldown resistor is added in the IN signals.

After the pull down resistor is added I couldn't drive high from the processor properly. If I remove the pull down resistor It is working fine.

Help me to solve  the issue.

Regards,

Algheen

  • Algheen,

Are you biasing the TS3A4751 with 3.3 V?
What signal are putting on the COM pin?
What is the expected signal on the NO1 pin vs what you are observing?

What is the voltage you are trying to drive on the control logic pin IN? If you are trying to drive 3.3 V with a 20k ohm pull down your driver will need to be able to provide 165 uA which most processors should be able to supply. Does a weaker pulldown like 200 kohm solve the problem?

Do you have a schematic or diagram of your system?
Do have scope shots of the NO, COM, IN, and Vcc?

    Thank you,
    Adam
