TMUX6119: PSpice model

Part Number: TMUX6119

Hi TI Team,

Where can I find Pspice model for this device? I found ibis model but how can I import this into TINA? Please help me regarding this.

Please share if there is any equivalent Pspice model is available to this device

Thanks and Regards,

  • Venkatesh,

If there was a PSPICE or TINA model available you would have found it the same place as the IBIS model.  Since we don't have a model available maybe I can help answer questions about the device behavior.  What are you trying to connect to the switch and what are you trying to model?

    Thank you,

    Adam

  • Hi Adam,

We are using this between our instrumentation amplifier input, there are two signals and it should connected to the INA as per the host command. I just searched the spice model for the switching characteristics comparison with datasheet in terms of timing and is there any glitch formed while switching.

Thanks for the reply. If there is any equivalent model, please share to me.

    Regards,

  • Venkatesh,

I'm not sure what you mean by glitch during switching but this device has break before make feature which ensures that the common signal path is high impedance for a minimum duration before it connects to the other channel.

Maybe you are asking about the charge injection causing a glitch during switching?  You can see this value specified in the datasheet as well.  You can see more information on charge injection in this precision lab video.

    Thank you,

    Adam

  • Thanks Adam,

Yeah, I saw the details in datasheet, but I thought to simulate it with my design, that is why I asked the spice model.

    Thanks,

  • Venkatesh,

Even with the switches that we have SPICE models and TINA models for we don't have current injection modeled.

    Thank you,

    Adam
