Hi Tiffany,

At the digital side, the TMUX136 can be used for both UART and CAN depending on the bandwidth requirements for your application.

Can you provide an image of what you are trying to accomplish? This way we can recommend the best device.

Hi Saminah,

Sorry for late response.

Customer's spec changes to MUX for RS232 and CAN Bus (CAN Bus 2 sets). Bandwidth at 2Mbps.

Hi Tiffany,

It depends on what is your RS232 and CAN voltage range. If it is within the recommended operating conditions of TMUX136 , you should be good.

Bandwidth wise, I do not see any issue as TMUX136 has a high bandwidth (6Ghz).
