TS3A24157: input/output type of COM in IBIS Model

Part Number: TS3A24157

Hi,

My customer open the IBIS model ( ) in ti.com. They found the type of COM is input. Can we make it as output? So they can output the signal from these pins in simulation.

Thanks.

  • Hi Jerry,

The TS3A24157 is a bidirectional  switch so there shouldn’t be any issue with using the COM as an input to demux.

    Hi Saminah,

I mean, in the IBIS module on ti.com, the type of COM pins is input only, so customer can't use it as output in simulation.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jerry,

You should use the series resistance model part of the ibis model.

There are a bunch of series switch models present that follow the pin mapping below

Here is an example plot of the COM 3.3V series switch model

Using this form of the model will give you what you want as an IO instead of an explicit input/output.
