I have been doing some testing on my board with the TMUX1208 and seeing some unexpected behavior. My conclusion is when the input voltage is higher than the supply voltage of the multiplexer, regardless of channel selections, the output will be above the supply voltage of the multiplexer. Can you please explain the reason of such behavior?

Hi Adam,

According to the Recommended Operating Conditions, the voltage at the source and drain (inputs/outputs) of the mux should not exceed the supply voltage. Your input voltage exceeds this rating, so functional operation of the device is not guaranteed at or beyond these conditions.
