Hello,

Would you let us know how should do unused pins below? Power supply is applied at V+ and GND pins.

1) Can NO pin leave floating?

2) Can NC pin leave floating?

3) Can COM pin leave floating?

4) Can IN pin leave floating?

Best regards,

Toshihiro Watanabe

  • The analog pins (NO/NC/COM) can be left floating. The IN pin is a CMOS input and must always have a valid logic level to avoid high shoot-through currents.

    Hi Toshihiro,

Thank you for posting on e2e.

The FAQ below also covers the question on "What should you do with unused inputs/outputs of a switch"?

    Regards,
