Hello,

Can I use this part as a MUX and DEMUX at teh same time. For my use case I have two masters and a slave. I need to have three lines the MOSI, SS, CLK muxed (Two master inputs and one output to the slave) while I have the MISO demuxed (1 slave input and 2 outputs to masters). Is it okay to use this part to do both of these simultaneously?

    This is OK. All channels are independent, and analog switches do not even care about the direction in which the current flows.

    Hi Vibhu,

    As clemens mentioned all our multiplexers can be used for multiplexing and demultiplexing. This device open/closes all lanes at the same time, so it should suit your application.

    Nevertheless we recommend you to use our new TMUX1574. It is pin 2 pin compatible and offers multiple new features like 1.8V Logic control, Fail-safe logic powered off protection and more/
