This Mux does not have any exposed pad, but however in page 39, note3, there is a recommendation "This package is designed to be soldered to a thermal pad on the board. For more information, see Texas Instruments literature number SLUA271 (www.ti.com/lit/slua271)".
Why is this recommendation when there is no exposed pad?
