Can this mux be used for FSI signals?

    Hi Vino,

    The FSI is a serial communication peripheral capable of  high-speed communications, up to 200 Mbps. 

    What is the datarate requirement for your application?

    For digital applications we recommended the switch bandwidth be 1.5 times the datarate per lane.Bandwidth requirement  for FSI @ 200Mbps would be ~300MHz

    The TS3A27518E supports bandwidth of 240MHz.. Are you going to use all 6 channels of this device?

    You can also look at the TMUX1574 is a 2:1, 4 channel switch that supports a higher bandwidth of  2Ghz.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response. We want to ensure proper functioning of Mux even with highest data rate of FSI signals.

    Yes all 6 channels will be used, 2 TX ,2 RX & 1 clock for each.
