TS5A23157: 8 input , 4 output Analog Switch with JTAG support

Hi,

Please help to advise analog switch like TS5A23157 but with more ports. (8 input , 4 output)

Can this kind of switch also can implement in the JTAG signal?

    Hi Saminah,

    For your first question I would point you towards the following parts:

    1. The TMUX1574 - 4 Channel 2:1 Switch. Lower Ron and Higher Bandwidth than the TS5A23157, this part should fully meet your needs for your application.I strongly recommend this part to be the best option we have for your application

    2. The SN74CBT3257 - 4 Channel 2:1 Switch, Lower Ron than TS5A23157, but this part cannot pass rail-to-rail signals, so it can support signals as long as you don't need the entire 5V range.

    3. The SN74CBT3257C - Similar to the SN74CBT3257 except with -2V undershoot protection.

    Out of the options the strongest one I'd recommend is the TMUX1574.

    For your second question, as long as the voltages and bandwidth are supported by the switch you may pass whatever signal you would like JTAG, SPI, I2C, Audio,  etc.
