TS3USB30: about LVDS signal mux, and hot insertion and hot removal feature

you want to connect two single ended signal to A+.A-? that will cause some crosstalk It should ok for hot plug and hot removal since it can handle 8kv

Thanks very much for your reply. Customer's use case is sometimes they will use differential LVDS signal, sometimes they will use as single ended signal. Differential signal can be tolerate cross talk, but if customer is ok with single ended signal, should be ok right?

Hi Brian,

Here is more details about use case:

1. When selected B signal, signal direction is from A to B. both A and B are differential LVDS signal. 100MHz.

2. When selected to C side, signal direction from A to C. Both A+ A- and C+, C- is single ended signal. 

Should it be OK for TS3USB30?

As for hot swap function, customer want to know more details, do we follow the hot swap standards? Not only can meet 8kv surge on pins. Customer mentions there is standard for hot swap.
