TS5A3157: NO, NC ON/OFF leakage current

Part Number: TS5A3157

Hello,

Datasheet page 5 says NO, NC ON/OFF leakage current is 0.1uA(typ) and +/-0.2uA(max/min) at 5.5V and full temp range.

However, looking at Figure 4 on page 11, they are ~3nA(typ?) and ~1.5nA(typ?), much smaller than the spec on page 5.

Which is true?

Best regards,

K.Hirano

  • Hey Kazuhiko,

The curve in figure 4 shows on page 11 shows the device performance and is the reliable information so I would base it off that.

    Thanks,

  • Rami,

    Thank you for your response.

But, I am a bit confused, and let me confirm more.

Page 5 spec shows 0.1uA (typ), but figure 4 shows much smaller value and you mentioned it is reliable information.

Do you mean that the datasheet typical spec on page 5 is too much and actual typical value must be much smaller?

Or the sample used for the figure 4 just had much better performance by chance?

    Best regards,

    K.Hirano

  • Your first way of understanding was proper. The actual value is smaller. The figure shows the actual test data while the table was probably left from pre-development estimations where we were more conservative. When the device was tested we updated figure 4 and this shows the values you can actually expect to see.

    Thanks,
    Rami
