SN74CBTLV3126: OE pin active

Part Number: SN74CBTLV3126
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1511

Hi,

In SN74CBTLV3126  datasheet pin funciotns table, OE is actvie low:

but in function table, it said that when OE is high, A port is connected to B port:

I think they are confilcted, so if I want to enable this bus swith ,I need to connect OE pin to high or low?

Thanks

Gavin

  • For all logic devices, 125 = active low, 126 = active high.

    Table 1 is correct.

  • Gavin, Clemens,

Thank you for pointing out this contradiction in the datasheet. This device is the standard '126 type, as Clemens mentioned. Please follow Table 1 for your control inputs.

What is your use case for this 4-channel 1:1 switch? I would like to recommend that you take a look at TMUX1511 -- pin-out compatible (and same logic) with SN74CBTLV3126 with improved specifications and features. Please reach out if you have any questions about using TMUX1511 in your design.

    Best regards,
    Kate
