SN74LVC1G3157: Output voltage drop

Part Number: SN74LVC1G3157

Hi expert,

My customer have an issue of voltage drop on A pin.

A pin voltage was 2V at S=high, with following configuration,

A pin voltage will be 3V at S=high, with following configuration,

(B2 pullup resistor was changed from 10kohm to 1kohm)

Could you please let me know the reason of this issue?

Does A pin have pull down resistor? (around 15kohm???)

Thanks

Muk

  • Hi Muk,

    Thanks for your question.

What device is connected at B2 - "open drain"? What type of signal are you expecting to pass through the switch? The internal architecture of an analog switch is passive and signals will pass through the output as-is from the input (this signal path is not internally pulled up or down).

When you say voltage "drop", what voltage are you expecting to have at A? 3.3V?

    Thanks,
    Kate

  • Hi Kate-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Yes, they expect 3.3V.

I will try to share your comment to customer.

    Thanks
